School Admissions
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will have to make and we would like to thank you for your interest in Manor Primary School & Nursery.
We will shortly be offering tours of our school and nursery for any families that would like to visit. Please keep an eye on our website for dates and times.

Reception starters - September 2027
If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023 then you can apply for a Reception place for entry in September 2027, via Oxfordshire County Council as follows:
Admissions open: Tuesday 3rd November 2026
Closing date for admissions: Wednesday 27th January 2027.
National Offer Day: Friday 16th April 2027 and families that applied on time will be notified by Oxfordshire County Council from early evening onwards regarding their child's school allocation.
Deadline to accept offers: Friday 30th April 2027
All applications for a place at Manor Primary School for Reception to Year 6 are managed by Oxfordshire County Council.
The deadline to accept a Reception place is Thursday 30th April 2027.

Applications to Reception - Oxfordshire County Council
The Published Admission Number (PAN) for entry into Reception at Manor Primary School in September 2026 is 30.

Oversubscription criteria
School places will be offered to children at Manor Primary School using criteria laid out in our Admissions Policy below.
Late Applications
If you submit your application without a good reason after the deadline, your application will be treated as late. This may affect the possibility of your child being offered a place at one of your preferred schools. Please contact Oxfordshire County Council if you are likely to be unable to make an on-time application.
Waiting Lists
Where there are more children than places available, waiting lists will operate for each year group according to the oversubscription criteria without regard to the date the application was received or when a child’s name was added to the waiting list.
Waiting lists are held until 31st December of the academic year applied for when they will be cancelled. Parents wishing to remain on the waiting list after this date must make an in-year application to Oxfordshire County Council.
Children of Staff
Applicants who wish to be considered for priority admission for Manor Primary School under the criterion of Children of Staff must complete the Supplementary Information Form available in Appendix 1 of the School Admissions Policy, in addition to the local authority application form.
Appeals
If you did not get the school place you wanted, your child will be placed on a waiting list and you may want to appeal. Please see the following link for more information.

Admission of children outside their normal year group
The Department for Education (DfE) expects pupils to be educated in their normal chronological year group however should you wish for your child to defer your child's entry to Reception or be admitted to a different year group please visit the refer to the School Admissions Policy for more information.
