RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) Policy
From September 2020, RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) became compulsory in secondary schools and Relationship Education compulsory in all primary schools. Children will be taught about relationship skills from reception class onwards.

Our curriculum is set out as per Appendix 1 of the policy but we may need to adapt it as and when necessary. We follow the Christopher Winter scheme of work to cover the sex education aspects of RSE which is a highly recommended programme.
As part of the policy, we would welcome feedback from parents. Stakeholder consultation on this policy remains ongoing and is a key part of the annual review process. Should you wish to feedback at any point, please contact the school office.
